    Bajaj synchronises second unit of 660 MW in Lalitpur

    Synopsis

    With this the Bajaj group would emerge as the biggest power producer in the state, said the company official.

    LUCKNOW: The Bajaj group has successfully synchronised the second unit of 660 MW at its Lalitpur thermal power plant on Wednesday. The Lalitpur Power Generation Co Ltd, part of the Bajaj had earlier commissioned the first unit of 660 MW in September 2015. A company spokesman said that the third unit would be commissioned early next year which would take the total generation capacity of the plant to 1980 MW.

    With this the Bajaj group would emerge as the biggest power producer in the state, said the company official.
