Thomas Cook's Quess Corp acquires Dubai-based Styracorp

Quess Corp Ltd, an arm of travel services provider Thomas Cook, has acquired Styracorp Management Services and IME Consultancy for an undisclosed sum.

Based in Dubai, Styracorp provides human resources staffing solutions in the Middle East.

"The acquisition marks the entry of Quess people and services business in the Middle East", Thomas cook said in a BSE filing quoting a statement by Quess.

Quess is a business services provider headquartered in Bengaluru. It has over 1.1 lakh employees with operations across eight countries.

In a separate statement, Quess said its board of directors has approved a proposal to raise capital though an initial public offer.

"The approval is subject to the ratification by shareholders of the company", Quess added.
