Symphony Q2 net up 32.5% to Rs 47.73 crore

Ahmedabad-based air cooler company Symphony today reported a jump of 32.51 percent in standalone net profit at Rs 47.73 crore for the second quarter ended December 31.

Ahmedabad-based air cooler company Symphony today reported a jump of 32.51 percent in standalone net profit at Rs 47.73 crore for the second quarter ended December 31. The company, which follows July-June financial year, had posted a net profit of Rs 36.02 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a BSE filing. Symphony Ltd's net sales during the quarter under review was up 19.64 percent to Rs 162.10 crore as against Rs 135.48 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal.

Meanwhile, in a separate filing Symphony informed that its board today declared an interim dividend of Rs 5 per equity share having face value of Rs 2 each. Symphony shares today settled at 2,199.00 on BSE, up 0.50 percent.
