Skipper bags orders worth Rs 135 cr from Power Grid

Looking to bag orders worth Rs 300 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India, Skipper Ltd today said it has secured contracts worth Rs 135 crore from the state-run firm and is expecting confirmation for the rest.

Looking to bag orders worth Rs 300 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India, Skipper Ltd today said it has secured contracts worth Rs 135 crore from the state-run firm and is expecting confirmation for the rest.

Skipper, which is engaged in manufacturing of PVC pipes and transmission towers in a BSE filing said "As informed earlier on 20th April, the company was favourably placed for contracts worth Rs 300 crore with Power Grid Corporation of India".

Out of this amount, the company has already secured contracts worth Rs 135 crore and for the balance the company is expecting confirmation, the filing added.
