KOLKATA: With Durga Puja round the corner, Century Plyboards India is back with its annual award winning campaign – CenturyPly Heroes 2016.
The campaign will felicitate lesser known fraternity without whom the festivities would lose it colour – be it the policemen, the fast food vendors, the electrician, the dhakis, ambulance drivers, sweepers, nurses or doctors on duty or any such person who are the epitome of the Sab Sahe Mast Rahe spirit and attitude.

The campaign is in line with the company's ongoing “Sab Sahe Mast Rahe” TVC campaign. The 'Sab Sahe Mast Rahe' ideology of CenturyPly denotes the quality, trust, tenacity and strength of character that the brand portrays. .

Century Plyboards managing director Sanjay Agarwal said: ”CenturyPly has always celebrated the ‘Sab Sahe Mast Rahe’ spirit. This year’s CenturyPly Heroes intends to celebrate the unsung heroes we come across in our lives everyday yet we do not acknowledge their efforts in a way that it deserves. Through this initiative, we hope to make a small difference in their lives while bringing a smile to their faces.“

Incidentally, the company started the CenturyPly Heroes initiative in 2014 to recognize and salute the carpenter’s indomitable spirit, the skill and the commitment to the art and to life at large. This year, the company decided to extend the campaign to people beyond the carpenter community to encompass groups from all walks of life epitomising the 'Sab Sahe Mast Rahe' spirit and attitude.

Elaborating on campaign, CenturyPly group head - marketing Amit Gope said, pandal hoping during the five days long festival would not be fund is the streets are littered because the sweepers are on leave and the fast food vendors are also enjoying with their family instead of cooking yummy dishes for pandal hoppers to gorge on. What if medical services like ambulances or nurses at hospital are not available to help us out in case of an emergency?"

"Festivities would lose its colour without these people. CenturyPly intends to celebrate these heroes who relentlessly do their thankless jobs without expecting anything in return while we have a great time during the festival," Gope added.

The campaign will invite people to share pictures of those groups who work day-in and day-out while the Kolkatans are out on the streets enjoying the festival of Durga Puja. CenturyPly will identify the fraternity or group who gets the maximum pictures from people and subsequently, felicitate the community.
