Aurobindo Pharma Ltd has received final approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to manufacture Guaifenesin and Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide extended release tablets.
The product will be launched in the first quarter of FY18. The approved tablets are generic equivalent of Reckitt Benckiser’s Mucinex tabets. They “help loosen mucus and phlegm and thin out bronchial secretions, making cough more productive,’’ the Hyderabad-based company said in a release
