Himatsingka Seide appoints Ashutosh Halbe as interim CFO

Arvind Fashions' interest cost for FY20 was Rs 289 crore, while the operating profit for the same fiscal was Rs 231 crore.

Textiles firm Himatsingka Seide today appointed Ashutosh Halbe as its interim chief financial officer, till a new CFO is appointed.

The board of directors of the company at its meeting held today "considered and approved the appointment" of Halbe, who is presently the CFO of Himatsingka America Inc, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Himatsingka Seide Limited.

"Ashutosh Halbe is a chartered accountant by qualification and has an industry experience in the field of finance for more than 20 years in the manufacturing sector," Himatsingka Seide said in a regulatory filing.

He joined Himatsingka group in November 2007 as Associate Vice President Corporate Accounts.
