IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Ltd has received contracts worth ₹236.76 crore from Jharkand Bijli Vitran Nigam Ltd.
The projects were awarded under the Integrated Power Development Scheme.
The letters of intent for the contracts include supply of all equipment and materials and providing for services related to the contract for Urban Electrification works of Dhanbad Electric Supply Circle of JBVNL in Dhanbad and Chirkunda, in Jharkand.
The other contract is for supply of equipment, materials and services for Urban Electrification works of Dumka-Sahibganj Electric Supply Circle in Jharkand. Both these projects have a completion schedule of 24 months.
IL&FS Engineering Services is currently working for rural electrification and IPDS works in Jharkhand at Sahibganj, East & West Singhbhum, and Jamshedpur.
It is executing rural electrification/IPDS works worth more than ₹1,850 crore across India.
