IT services company Larsen and Toubro (L&T) Infotech today said its consolidated net profit rose by over 17 percent to Rs 272.6 crore in the September quarter.
This is against a net profit of Rs 232.5 crore in the same period last year, L&T Infotech said in a statement.
The company's revenues from operations increased 9.3 percent to Rs 1,750.8 crore in the reported quarter from Rs 1,602 crore in the year-ago period.
In dollar terms, its revenue stood at USD 270.6 million, up 12.9 percent year-on-year.
Sanjay Jalona, CEO and Managing Director of L&T Infotech, said the company delivered broad-based revenue growth led by digital, which represents 32 percent of its revenues.
"We are also delighted to announce two large deals this quarter. These wins, combined with on-track execution of large deals won earlier make us optimistic about the future," he added.
Digital services accounted for over 29 percent of the company's revenues in the June 2017 quarter.
It had a total headcount of 22,554 people, while attrition was at 15 percent for the September quarter.
The board of directors have declared an interim dividend of Rs 8 per equity share, the first for this financial year 2017-18.
Shares of the company closed 1.04 per cent lower at Rs 807 apiece on BSE today.
