    Tech Mahindra signs MoU with CET for AI center

    The collaboration outlines the government’s objective to upskill young students by familiarising them with new-age technologies like AI and equipping them with the knowledge of applying these technologies in everyday life.     NEW DELHI: Technology services major Tech Mahindra has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with College of Engineering and Technology (CET), Bhubaneswar to set up a Center of Excellence (CoE) within the college campus to train young graduates in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik, according to a release.
    The collaboration outlines the government’s objective to upskill young students by familiarizing them with new-age technologies like AI and equipping them with the knowledge of applying these technologies in everyday life. The initiative is aimed at fostering a growth ecosystem that will positively impact the economy and lives of people in Odisha, the release added.

    Sanjay Kumar Singh, commissioner cum secretary, Skill Development and Technical Education Department, Government of Odisha, said, “This collaboration between Tech Mahindra and CET will be a big step forward in building joint capabilities for the local industries and the state of Odisha, in the area of AI. The CoE will be a catalyst in implementing new age technologies in various sectors and will help us design cutting-edge solutions for the future.”
