HDFC Bank plans to reach 200 branches across Northeast India

GUWAHATI: HDFC Bank plans to reach 200 branches across Northeast India. The bank has around 136 branches in eight states of the region.

Sandeep S Kumar, Branch Banking Head, East and NorthEast, HDFC Bank on Wednesday in Guwahati said, “in Assam we plan to across 100 branches by next year. Across Northeast India we will have branch network of 200 branches.”

He said, “Assam as we all know is the gateway to the NorthEast and our endeavour is to make a difference in their lives through our banking services as well as in the society through our social initiatives.We have already impacted more than 15.5 lakh people in the state so far and we are humbled by the trust and support they repose in us.
