Nikhil Sawhney

Nikhil Sawhney is the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Triveni Turbine Limited and a Director with Triveni Engineering and Industries Limited in Noida, India. Nikhil has worked in the field of investment banking and consumer goods in the UK and USA prior to joining Triveni Engineering in 1999. Nikhil has work in different positions within the company overseeing corporate functions like corporate affairs, communications and investor relations as well as the businesses of water and waste water treatment and turbines.

Nikhil has helped found the CII-Triveni Water Institute and is an active trustee of the Tirath Ram Shah Charitable Hospital and the Emmanuel College India Trust, as well as a Fellow of the Aspen Institute of India and the Aspen Global Leadership Network. He is also a part of the Managing Committee of ASSOCHAM and the Governing Council of AIMA. Nikhil has been awarded the Udyog Ratna by the Institute of Economic Studies. Nikhil has a Bachelors degree in Arts and a Masters degree in Arts from Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge, and a Masters degree in Business Administration from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
