Mr. Veeramani Shankar, B.Com.(Hons),FCAAICWA,ACS,L.L.B has been the Chief Executive Officer of Rallis India Limited since June 1, 2007 and also its Managing Director since January 15, 2009. Mr. Shankar served as the Chief Operating Officer of Rallis India Ltd. from December 1, 2005 to April 1, 2008. Mr. Shankar joined Rallis on December 1, 2005. Mr. Shankar served as the Chief Operating Officer, Phosphates Business of Tata Chemicals Ltd. He had been with Hindustan Lever from 1986 to 2004 and served in various capacities in the Commercial function and was also responsible for the Seeds business.

Mr. Shankar has been a Non-Independent Executive Director of Rallis India Limited since March 13, 2007. He serves as a Director of Metahelix Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. He is a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Cost Accountant from ICWAI, Company Secretary and holds BCom (Hons) and LLB.
