Vinay joined HT Media in October 2008. He has worked with Max India and ANZ Grindlays in software services, investment banking, treasury management and venture capital. While at Max, he led private equity investments in IT & ITES sector. He has more than 22 years of experience spanning full investment cycle – from building business to spinning it off. In his last role, before joining HT Media, Vinay was heading the Finance function at EXL, where he was responsible for the global treasury function. He participated and played a key role in taking EXL public on the NASDAQ. Subsequent to the listing, he helped the company's internal Sarbannes Oxley (SOX) compliance initiative. Vinay is a commerce graduate from the Shri Ram College of Commerce and a Chartered Accountant.
