Mr. Upinder Zutshi is the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Infinite Computer Solutions (India) Ltd.   Mr. Zutshi has provided Infinite computers the Vision & the wherewithal to be positioned as a Global Service Provider up in the value chain with differentiated services and product based offerings with non-conventional engagements and business models.

He followed it up a finesse in execution with a complete hands on approach to set up the offshore operations of Infinite in India. 

Responsibilities & Achievements 

A hands-on leader, Mr. Zutshi works closely with Infinite's clients to execute large IT projects. He provides leadership, vision, direction, strategy and accountability for the various operations of the organization. He was the Chief Operating Officer at Infinite until May 2010.

Mr Zutshi is highly respected amongst peers as a thought leader  in the Technology world and has many achievements to his credit.

Mr. Zutshi has been shortlisted as CEO of The Year at the 4th Annual India Leadership Conclave & Indian Affairs Business Leadership Awards 2013.

His leadership, has led Infinite to the Nasscom Top 20 IT providers in India  with over 5000  employees across the globe.  Infinite was named the Top 5 employers in India by Dataquest – IDC.

Under the aegis of Mr. Zutshi,  Infinite was named as Forbes Asia 200 Best Under a Billion Company in 2012; 

Infinite has been named as Top 10 Global Telecom Outsourcing Providers by IAOP and has been recognized as technology thought leaders in the emerging areas like mobility, messaging and analytics.

Mr Zutshi spearheaded the IPO of Infinite, which was one of the most successful IPOs in 2010, with a historic opening where it was over-subscribed manifold in a stock market where the giants struggled in the global economic-crisis

Experience

Mr. Zutshi is a veteran with over 20 years of IT industry experience, he has impressive credentials in the areas of operations, sales, marketing and strategic alliances. He has credible experience in building early stage companies, setting up start-up ventures and nurturing them to heights.

He started his career with CMC Ltd., where he held various positions in sales, marketing and project management for eight years.

Prior to joining Infinite, Mr. Zutshi served as President of a software services company in the US, which he set up for the Indian parent company  He was earlier the International Business Head of a software solutions and consulting firm, of which he was also a Co-founder.  In his formative years he has worked extensively in the US and Asia Pac markets, with reputed companies holding key positions in marketing, strategic planning, and new business development.

Qualification & Other interests

Mr. Zutshi holds a Bachelor's Degree of Mechanical Engineering from the reputed Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, Rajasthan.

He is an avid golfer and a photographer.
