Mr. Punit Goenka, BCom. has been the Managing Director of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. since January 1, 2010 and its Chief Executive Officer since July 2008. Mr. Goenka has been Network Operating Officer at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd since 2005 and serves as its Head of Zee TV & Cinema. He served as Managing Director of Zee Media Corporation Limited (Zee News Limited) from July 5, 2010 to July 04, 2013. He has an extensive, diversified background in the areas of media, entertainment, and tele- communications in global markets. He has 11 years of experience. From 1995 to 1997, he headed a Music division of Zee Telefilms Ltd engaged in Audio/Video Music Album Publication. Since 2004, Mr. Goenka has been in charge of Zee TV the flagship hindi GEC channel. He served at Dish TV India Ltd., (formerly ASC Enterprises Ltd.) from 1997 to 2004.
