Mr.Atul Punj 

Chairman

Mr. Atul Punj is the Founder of Punj Lloyd Ltd. and has been its Executive Chairman since July 2003. Mr. Punj served as the Managing Director at Punj Lloyd Ltd, since July 2003. He oversees Punj Lloyd’s diversification into new business opportunities, including tankage and terminals, process plants, telecom and highway construction. He helped Punj Lloyd grow into international markets, including South East Asia, Middle East, the Commonwealth of Independent States, Europe and the GCC countries. Mr. Punj is also a Founder Shareholder of Jacob Ballas. He serves as Chairman of the Board for Sembawang Engineers and Constructors Pte Ltd. He was a Director of Samena Capital and is also one of the founding shareholders at the firm. He was the Founder Chairman of Samena Capital. Mr. Punj is a Member of the Advisory Board of GE India. Mr. Puni is also a Director of Aspen Institute India Global Health. In 2007, Mr. Punj was awarded Ernst & Young’s Infrastructure Entrepreneur of the Year award and was winner of CNBC's India Business Leader award in January 2009. Mr. Punj obtained a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the Shriram College of Commerce, Delhi University in 1979
