Head Strategy

Karan Bolaria heads the Fund Management and Capital Strategy functions at Godrej Properties. Karan led the creation of Godrej Properties’ fund management business and serves as the fund manager for the APG-Godrej fund focused on residential investments across India, which has already made investments of US $ 200 million.

 Heading the Capital Strategy function Karan has made investments and co-investment of over US $ 2 Billion across asset classes and raised over US $ 1 Billion through an IPO, India’s first ever Institutional Placement Program (IPP), a rights issues and through deals with multiple Private Equity funds.

 Prior to working with Godrej Properties he lived and worked internationally for over a decade, mostly in New York City, working in the areas of Private Equity and Venture Capital. Karan is Graduate of Columbia University and continues to serve on the international alumni executive committee.
