Joint Managing Director

Mr. Abhishek Somany is the Joint Managing Director of Somany Ceramics Limited and spearheads the business operations of the company’s tiles and sanitary ware. He served as the President of Somany Ceramics Ltd., for 7 years. He has been a Director of Somany Ceramics Limited since June 2001. Mr. Somany has over 13 years of multifunctional experience as an Industrialist.

Responsibilites

In 2005, Mr. Abhishek became the Joint Managing Director of the company and under his dynamic leadership the company scaled new heights, registering current annual sales turnover of Rs.35143 lacs. His wealth of experience, business acumen and an in-depth understanding of the marketplace, have significantly contributed to the growth of the organization.

Experience

Abhishek started his career in the ceramic industry as a Management Trainee with Somany Ceramics Ltd and thereafter he held various senior management positions in the company. In the year 1996, he took complete charge of domestic marketing of the company as the President. In 2001, he took over as the Executive Director of Somany Ceramics and continued on this position for the next 3 years.

Qualification

Mr. Abhishek holds a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration from Richmond University, U.K. with specialization in Finance & Marketing. He has also received specialized intensive training of manufacturing Ceramic Tiles in Pilkington’s Tiles, U.K. at their Manchester and Brighton Plants. He has also attended Advanced Management Course at Sunridge Park, U.K.
