Global Head - Sales

John Leney is a Vice President and Global Sales Head for Automotive Vertical. He is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of business growth strategies for automotive vertical.

John is also responsible for Global Marketing and leads the Go-to-Market strategy. John joined Geometric in 2012, as Global Sales Head for Automotive Vertical and took this mantle again in 2015 to grow the company’s largest vertical.

He has also served as Global Head of Sales. Prior to joining Geometric, he was a Senior Director in Dassault Systèmes’ Automotive Industry Group, and held executive positions in management consulting, engineering, information technology and strategy/market planning with Deloitte and Touché as well as HP/EDS.

John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. He works and resides in Troy, Michigan.
