Mr. Umesh Govind Revankar has been Managing Director of Shriram Transport Finance Co. Ltd. since April 01, 2012 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Revankar served as Deputy Managing Director of Shriram Transport Finance Co. Ltd. until April 01, 2012.

He started his career with the Shriram Transport Finance Company Ltd. as an Executive Trainee in the year 1987. Mr. Revankar has 22 years and possesses extensive experience in the financial services industry.

 He served as Chairman of Shriram Equipment Finance Company Limited. He has been Additional Director of Shriram Automall India, Ltd. since February 1, 2010. He has been an Additional Director of Shriram Transport Finance Co. Ltd.

Since April 1, 2012 and served as its Independent Non Executive Director until January 3, 2006. Mr. Revankar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Mangalore University and MBA in Finance. He had attended Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
