Mr. Abanindra M. Misra serves as Vice President of Raw Materials, Coke Sinter & Iron at Tata Steel Limited. Mr. Misra served as Vice President of Shared Services at Tata Steel Limited Mr. Misra served as Vice President of Raw Materials of Tata Steel Limited since September 2006 and also served as its Vice President of Human Resources. He has been Chairman at Tata Sponge Iron Limited since August 2, 2009. He served as Chairman of the Board of The Indian Steel & Wire Products Ltd.

He has been a Director of The Indian Steel & Wire Products Ltd., since April 29, 2010. He serves as a Director of Rawmet Ferrous Industries Pvt. Ltd., and Tata Steel KZN Ry. Ltd. He graduated as an Engineer (Mechanical). Mr. Misra completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur in 1981. He has also attended the General Management Programme in CEDEP (INSEAD, France).
