Mr. Ashok Kumar Purwaha serves as a Managing Director of Certification Engineers International Ltd. Mr. Purwaha served as the Chairman and Managing Director of Engineers India Ltd from January 10, 2009 to June 1, 2015 and served as its Director of Projects since February 1, 2011. Mr. Purwaha served as the Director of Commercial at Engineers India Limited since June 2010 and Director of Technical from August 10, 2010 to November 15, 2010. He served as a Director at Personnel at Engineers India Limited from February 1, 2010 to April 30, 2010 and also served as its Director of Finance. Mr. Purwaha joined GAIL in 1985 and has over 29 years of extensive experience LPG recovery plants. Mr. Purwaha served as Director of Planning & Business Development of Gail India Ltd. since November 1, 2006. He served as Managing Director of Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) from September 2001 to September 2005.

He started his career with ONGC in Drilling Business Group, at the time of the inception of Bombay High and also worked in Mumbai High. He serves as Chairman of Certification Engineers International Limited. He serves as a Director of Brahmaputra Cracker & Polymer Limited, GAIL Global (Singapore) Pte. Limited and Natgas, Egypt. He serves as Director at EIL Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd. Mr. Purwaha served as a Director of Gail India Ltd. from November 1, 2006 to October 1, 2009. He served as a Director of Indraprastha Gas Ltd. from November 14, 2006 to January 14, 2007. He served as a Director of Ratnagiri Gas and Power Private Limited. Mr. Purwaha holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Delhi University.
