Mr. Devender Singh Rawat

Mr. Devender Singh Rawat has been Managing Director of Bharti Infratel Limited since April 1, 2014 and its Chief Executive Officer since July 28, 2010. Mr. Rawat served as Chief Operating Officer of Bharti Infratel Limited. He is responsible for putting together and driving a concrete long term strategy for it and proactively handling matters relating to business augmentation, operations and service excellence. He would also be responsible for key transformation projects such as energy saving and deployment of renewable energy-saving solutions, Classic IT (CIT) business process automation and the state of the art Network Operating Centre (NOC).

He has over 21 years of experience, of which the first 7 years were with the Indian Air Force. Over the years, he has worked in various capacities in Escotel, Ericsson and, most recently, Huawei as the Executive Director. He has been in the telecom industry for almost 14 years. He has been an Additional Director of Bharti Infratel Limited since April 1, 2014. Mr. Rawat is a graduate in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad.
