Mr. Manoj Kumar Kohli, B.Com, LLB, MBA served as the Managing Director at Bharti Enterprises Limited from April 1, 2014 to February 2015. Mr. Kohli served as the Managing Director of Bharti Airtel Limited from February 2013 to April 1, 2014. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Bharti Airtel International (Netherlands) B.V. until March 31, 2014. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Bharti Airtel Limited since April 2007 and served as its Chief Executive Officer of African Operations. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and Joint Managing Director of International Business Group since April 2010. He is responsible for business strategy, operations and its results. Mr. Kohli has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of India & SAARC region at Bharti Airtel Ltd. since April 1, 2007. He served as a Joint Managing Director at Bharti Enterprises Limited and Bharti Airtel Ltd. since August 2008. Mr. Kohli served as the Chief Executive Officer of Escotel Mobile Communications Ltd. He served as President of Mobility at Bharti Airtel Ltd. until April 1 2007. He serves as a Non Executive Director of Bharti Airtel Limited until February 4, 2015 and served as its Executive Director. He served as an Executive Director of Escotel Mobile Communications Ltd. He served as a Director at GSM Association. He served as Director of Bharti Hexacom Ltd. He served as Chairman of Cellular Operators the Association of India (COAI) and is a Member of the Academic Council of the Faculty of role in IT Management Studies, New Delhi. He started his career in 1979 with the Shriram Group, where he initially led the HR function, followed by leadership positions in the Foods, Chemicals and Fertilizer businesses and assignments in Engineering projects, including Shriram Honda. He left as Vice President, responsible for the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration business unit (now known as Tecumseh & Daikin) after a total stint of 15 years. He serves as a Director of Centum Learning Limited and Bharti Del Monte India Private Limited. He has been a Director at Bharti Airtel International (Netherlands) B.V since March 19, 2010. He worked at AlliedSignal/Honeywell, where he was Executive Director in charge of its new Industrial Park and operations in India. He has been ERP awarded the 'Best Alumni Award' by SRCC, University of Delhi and was adjudged 'Telecom Man of the Year'- Techies Award for 2000 by Transasia. Mr. Kohli holds graduate degrees in Commerce and Law and an MBA from Delhi University. He attended an Executive Business Program at the Michigan Business School and the Advanced Management Program at Wharton, USA.
