Shri K Venkataraman, is a post graduate in Agriculture and a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers. He has 36 years of experience in Banking. Having started his career as a Probationary Officer in State Bank of India during September 1978, he was elevated to various positions in SBI.

He was a Chief General Manager of SBI, before being deputed to its subsidiary M/s SBI Global Factors Limited as its MD. He is the MD & CEO of the Bank since 06.06.2011.
