Mr.Malvindra Mohan Singh

Mr. Malvinder Mohan Singh was a Promoter of Religare Wellness Limited and Religare Wellness Ltd. Mr. Singh serves as a Member of the Board of Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. He has been an Executive Chairman of Fortis Healthcare International Pte Ltd. since January 11, 2012. He is a Promoter of Fortis Healthcare Limited and has been its Executive Chairman since January 11, 2012 and previously served as its Non-Executive Chairman from June 6, 2007 to January 11, 2012. Mr. Singh served as the Chairman of Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd., from December 19, 2008 to May 24, 2009 and as its Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director from January 18, 2006 to May 24, 2009.
He served as a Regional Director of India Region and President of Pharmaceuticals at Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd. until May 24, 2009. He spearheaded the sale of approximately 64% of the equity share capital of RLL to Daiichi Sankyo Company Limited. He served as the President of Pharmaceuticals, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals Inc., a subsidiary of Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd. He has been the Chairman of Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre Limited, a subsidiary of Fortis Healthcare Limited since May 2007. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Religare & Fortis Health Care and Parkway Group Healthcare Pte Ltd. He served as Chairman of Board and Owner at Fortis Global Healthcare Holdings Pte Ltd. Mr. Singh served as the Chairman of Religare Technova Ltd. He served as Group Chairman of the Board of Directors of Religare Technologies Ltd. He served as a Non-executive Chairman of Parkway Holdings Ltd since March 19, 2010. He served as the Chairman of Religare Enterprise Limited, Holding Company of Religare Commodities Limited, Religare Finvest Limited, Religare Securities Limited, Religare Insurance Broking Ltd. from December 13, 2004 to April 2010. He serves as a Director of Escorts Hospital & Research Centre Ltd. and International Hospital Ltd. He serves as a Non-Executive Director of Oscar Investments Ltd.
Mr. Singh has been a Director of Super Religare Laboratories Limited since November 24, 1999. He serves as a Director of SRL Ranbaxy (SRL) and Fortis Healthcare Holdings Limited. He has been an Independent Non Executive Director of The Lanka Hospitals Corporation PLC since March 24, 2011. He serves as an Executive Director of Fortis Healthcare (India) Limited since January 11, 2012 and previously served as its Non-Executive Director until January 11, 2012. He is a Member of the Board of Visitors at Duke University. He is a Member of the Board of Visitors at the Fuqua School of Business, and serves on the board of the INSEAD Global India Council. He is a Member of the National Council of the Confederation of Indian Industries ("CII"). He is a Member of the Young Global Leaders Forum. He is a Member of the Board of the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER). Mr. Singh graduated in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and holds an MBA degree from the Fuqua School of Business from Duke University, USA.
