Mr. Prashantbhai C. Amin founded Caltronics, a California, USA based company specializing in printed circuit board manufacture and turnkey solutions for the high tech electronics industry and served as its Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Amin has 30 years of experience in successfully founding various new ventures in different geographies and operating small enterprises with strong leadership and operational direction. His business acumen and 'hands on' approach has been the key to his success with companies he has founded and nurtured. His valuable contribution in the areas of Strategic planning, marketing, operations, business development and financial management has put ELECON Group on the path of fast growth and energised the Group to the core. His enthusiasm and zeal to achieve makes him a role model for the ELECON Group. Mr. Amin spent 3 years as a Cost Estimator, at Sargent Industries, where he proved his financial acumen in manufacturing, planning and pricing. He returned to India in 1983, to start his first venture, a container/packaging company. He has been an Executive Director of Elecon Engineering Co. Ltd., since July 29, 2011. Mr. Amin has been Non Independent & Non-Executive Director at Eimco Elecon (India) Limited since October 10, 2007. Mr. Amin's Directorships held in other public companies includes : Power Build Limited - Akaaish Mechatronics Limited Technology Limited and Prayas Engineering Limited - Emtici Engineering Limited - Ringspann Elecon (India) Ltd. - Elecon Information Technology Ltd. Mr. Amin holds a Masters Degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin. He holds a Masters Degree in Engineering and Management from the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, India.
