Mr. V. Ravichandran, BE (Hons), AICWA, ACS, PGDM (IIM-A) served as the Managing Director at Coromandel International Ltd. (also known as Coromandel Fertilisers Ltd) from January 18, 2006 to October 19, 2010 and also served as its President. Mr. Ravichandran served as a Company Secretary of Securities Trading Corporation of India Ltd. He served as Managing Director of Godavari Fertilisers And Chemicals Ltd. since May 8, 2007. He served as Vice President of the Farm Inputs Division of E I D - Parry (I) Ltd., before joining Coromandel Fertilisers Limited (CFL) in December 2003. He served with Ashok Leyland Limited and Murugappa Group of Companies in the field of Finance and Marketing for over two decades. After a brief stint with Ashok Leyland, he joined Murugappa Group in October 1985 in EID Parry. He served with distinction in the Finance function of EID Parry, in the Farm Inputs Division (FIND), in Corporate and in businesses such as Confectionery. He served as General Manager of Pesticides since 1994. He served as Vice President of Find at Coromandel Fertilisers Ltd (CFL) since 2003. He has been Vice Chairman of Coromandel International Ltd. since July 21, 2011. Mr. Ravichandran has been Non Executive Vice Chairman of E.I.D Parry (India) Limited since July 27, 2011. He has been a Non Independent & Non-Executive Director at Parrys Sugar Industries Ltd, since August 27, 2010. He has been a Director of The Murugappa Group since November 1, 2009. He serves as the Lead Director of Fertilisers and Sugars of the Murugappa Corporate Board. He also serves on the Boards of Parry Agrichem Exports Ltd., The Fertiliser Association of India, Parry Chemicals Ltd. He has been a Director at Ficom Organics Ltd. (Ficom Organics) since April 15, 2006. He has been Additional Director of GMR Industries Ltd. since August 27, 2010. He has been Non Executive Director of Coromandel International Ltd. since October 19, 2010 and served as its Wholetime Director until October 19, 2010. He has been Non-Executive & Independent Director of Sabero Organics Gujarat Ltd. since July 2011. He served as Director of Godavari Fertilisers and Chemicals Ltd. He is also a Cost Accountant and a Company Secretary. Mr. Ravichandran is a Graduate Engineer and holds a Post Graduate Diploma from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
