Mr. Atul C. Kirloskar
Executive Chairman
Atul C. Kirloskar began his career with the erstwhile Kirloskar Cummins Limited in the year 1978, where he started out as a trainee. In December 1981, he was appointed as the Chief Executive of Cummins Diesel Sales & Services.
On 1 November 1984, he was appointed as the Executive Vice President of Kirloskar Industries Limited (KIL - earlier known as Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited). He was co-opted on the Board of KIL on 6 August 1985 wherein he took over as the Managing Director. In 1988, he was also appointed as the Vice Chairman of KIL and held the position till 25 July 1998 when he was elected as Chairman of the Board of KIL.
He was appointed as Managing Director of Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited (KOEL - earlier known as Kirloskar Engines India Limited) with effect from 31 March 2010. He is also the Chairman of the Board of KOEL. He resigned as Managing Director of KOEL on 25 January 2012 and was appointed as Executive Chairman with effect from 26 January 2012 of KOEL.
He is a member of the World Economic Forum. He has served as President of MCCIA from September 2002 to September 2004, and was Chairman of CII National Committee of Defence since from 1998 to 2008.
Mr. Atul Chandrakant Kirloskar, B.E., served as the Managing Director of Kirloskar Industries Ltd. since March 31, 2010. Mr. Kirloskar served as the Managing Director of Kirloskar Industries Ltd. until October 22, 2010 and Executive Vice President since November 1, 1984. Since December 1981, he served as the Chief Executive of Cummins Diesel Sales & Services.

He has been the Executive Chairman of Kirloskar Industries Ltd since January 01, 2012. He has been an Executive Chairman at Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited since January 26, 2012. He served as the Chairman of GG Dandekar Machine Works Ltd. since September 24, 2014. He served as Vice Chairman of KOEL from July 25,1988 to July 25, 1998.
He has been a Director of Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Limited since August 10, 1992 and Kirloskar Proprietary Ltd. since March 12, 2010. Mr. Kirloskar has been an Executive Director of Kirloskar Industries Ltd. since January 26, 2012. He serves as a Director of Five Star Bulkcarriers Private Limited, Kirloskar Kenya Limited, Kenya and Asara Sales and Investments Private Limited.
He has been a Non-Executive Director at Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Ltd., since January 23, 2012. He served as a Non Executive Director of Kirloskar Brothers Investments Ltd. until June 30, 2015. He serves as a Director of Navsai Investments Private Limited and Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private Limited. He served as a Director of GG Dandekar Machine Works Ltd. until September 24, 2014. He served as a Non executive Director of Swaraj Engines Ltd. until January 22, 2008. He served as a Director of Kirloskar Brothers Investments Ltd.
He served as a Non-Executive independent Director of Bajaj Holdings & Investment Limited. He served as a Director of Kirloskar Systems Limited until November 17, 2009. Mr. Kirloskar served as a Non-Executive Independent Director of Bharat Forge Ltd. from December 3, 1987 to March 31, 2004.
He is a member of the World Economic ForumHe has been the Chairman of Cll National Committee of Defence since 2000. He graduated in Engineering from Worcester Institute of Technology.
