Ms. Sunita Sharma has been Managing Director and Chief Executive of Central Office Mumbai at LIC Housing Finance Ltd. since November 5, 2013. Ms. Sharma has over 32 years of working experience with the Life Insurance Corporation of India where she has worked in different departments including housing finance and accounts.

She has served various positions at Life Insurance Corporation of India such as Secretary (Personnel and Industrial Relations).

She served as an Executive Director at P&GS at Life Insurance Corporation of India and served as its Chief of Personnel of Central Office. She has been a Nominee Director of Bhushan Steel Limited since February 2010.

She has been a Director at Larsen & Toubro Limited since April 1, 2015. She has been a Whole Time Executive Director at LIC Housing Finance Ltd. since November 5, 2013. Ms. Sharma holds a Master's Degree in Science from the University of Delhi, New Delhi.
