Mr. N. S. Kannan

Mr. N. S. Kannan, BE, CFA, PGDM, served as Chief Financial Officer of ICICI Bank Ltd. from May 1, 2009 to October 2013. Along with Finance, Taxation and Communications, Mr. Kannan's responsibilities include Compliance, Internal Audit, Corporate Legal, and Global Treasury operations. Mr. Kannanlooked after the Corporate Centre including the Finance and accounts functions, Investor/analyst relations, Investment Management, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Communications, Human Resources and Business Intelligence.

Mr. Kannan served as a Treasurer of ICICI Bank Ltd from 2003 to August 1, 2005 and its Senior General Manager. He joined the ICICI group in 1991 as a Project Officer. During his tenure at ICICI group, Mr. Kannan has handled project finance operations, infrastructure financing, structured finance, and treasury operations. He has been Chairman of ICICI Securities Primary Dealership Limited since May 2009.

He serves as Chairman of the Board at ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Limited, ICICI Eurasia Limited Liability Company, ICICI Bank UK PLC and ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited. He served as the Chairman of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited. He has been a Non-Executive Director at ICICI Bank UK PLC since April 13, 2010. Mr. Kannan has been an Executive Director of ICICI Bank Ltd. since May 1, 2009. He serves as an Executive Director of ICICI Bank.

He serves as a Director of ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Limited and of ICICI Bank Eurasia, LLC. Mr. Kannan has been an Executive Director of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company from August 1, 2005. He has been Non-Executive Director of ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited since May 1, 2009. He served as a Director of Essar Oil Ltd. until May 4, 2009. Mr. Kannan served as an Executive Director of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company from August 1, 2005 to May 1, 2009.
