Mr. P. K. Kataky has been the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Exide Industries Limited since May 1, 2013. Mr. Kataky has been the Chairman of Associated Battery Manufacturers (Ceylon) Limited since April 5, 2010. He serves as the Chairman of Chloride Alloys India Ltd.

He has been a Director of Automotive and Executive Director of Exide Industries Ltd. since March 26, 2005. He has been a Director of Chloride International Limited (CIL), a subsidiary of Exide Industries Ltd. since April 25, 2005 and serves as its Director of Caldyne Automatics Limited (Caldyne).
