Shri. K. V. Brahmaji Rao started his banking career in Vijaya Bank in the year 1982 as a Probationary Officer. In his exemplary banking career of more than three decade, he had held several distinguished positions in the Bank’s hierarchy. In Vijaya Bank, he served as Regional Head of Chandigarh Region and then as General Manager of Bangalore Region. He also worked as General Manager in Corporate Office of Vijaya Bank as head of various important divisions i.e., Planning & Development Department, Retail Credit and MSME Division. During his tenure in his alma mater as head of Retail & MSME, the Bank recorded a turnaround performance in these areas and showed all round growth. This has reinforced his experience in diversified areas. Shri. K.V Brahmaji Rao became Executive Director of Punjab National Bank on 22nd Januray’14. Currently, he is monitoring the performance of some important divisions such as Integrated Risk Management, Management Advisory Services, Treasury, Finance, Resource Mobilization, Operations Division, New Initiative Division and Credit Operation, Monitoring & Recovery of FGMOs of Mumbai, Meerut, Lucknow and Agra.
