Joint Managing Director of DCM Shriram Limited (Alternate Name: Dcm Shriram Consolidated Ltd.) and served as its Deputy Managing Director. He served as a Director of DCM Shriram Limited since 2001. Mr. Shriram has been a Director of DCM Shriram Limited since May 02, 2001. 

Mr. Shriram serves as a Director of Bioseed Research India Pvt. He is a Graduate in Commerce from Osmania University, Hyderabad. He holds an MBA from the International Institute for Management Development, Switzerland.Mr Ajit Shriram, is the Joint Managing Director of DCM Shriram Ltd. 

Mr Shriram finished his primary education from Modern School Delhi. After obtaining Bachelors degree in Commerce from Osmania University, Hyderabad, he did his MBA from International Institute of Management Development, Lausanne,Switzerland.

Mr Shriram is the past President of the Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA) and also a member of the CII National Council on Agriculture.

A conscientious family man, Mr Shriram respects the family ties and its values. Youngest amongst brothers, he makes a good team with brothers M/s Ajay and Vikram Shriram at business and inculcating family value system.

He enjoys traveling, Photography and theatre.
