Shri Animesh Chauhan, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, assumed charge of the Bank on 31st December, 2014. Born on 30th June 1957, Shri Chauhan is a Graduate in Commerce and has also done JAIIB. Shri Chauhan started his career on 17th January, 1979 in Bank of Baroda as Probationary Officer and was elevated as General Manager in February 2010. He is an experienced banker and has worked in various capacities across locations. He also has the experience in handling overseas operations, as he headed London (Main) branch for over three years. He was Zonal Head/SLBC Convenor of Rajasthan Zone from June 2011 to August 2013. Shri Chauhan has also worked as Chairman of The Nainital Bank Limited, Nainital from December 2007 to May 2011. Shri Animesh Chauhan joined Central Bank of India on his elevation as Executive Director on 5th August, 2013 and he was overseeing the portfolios such as Retail Banking, Information Technology, Transaction Banking, Priority Sector, MSME and Recovery.
