Sh. Suresh N Patel, Executive Director, assumed charge on 01st January’ 2014. He is a graduate in Science and Law. He is also a Certified member of Indian Institute of Bankers. He has over three decades of rich work experience. He started his career as Agriculture Officer with Dena Bank in 1981. He has headed both semi-urban and metro branches in Ahmedabad Region. Thereafter, he has been the Regional Manager at Thane, Rajkot, Ahmedabad & Bangalore Regions. As Dy. General Manager he has headed Human Resource Management Department of the Bank and also handled Surat Region as Regional Manager. On his elevation as General Manager on 01.02.2011, he was given operational responsibility of Gujarat State and 3 U.T.s comprising of 597 branches (inclusive of 47 Satellite Offices) in 8 Zones, having total business mix of more than Rs.50,000.00 crore. He was the Convenor of SLBC in the state of Gujarat and also of Union Territory Level Banker’s Committee (UTLBC) for Dadra Nagar Haveli, Diu and Daman.
