Mr. J. P. Goenka serves as the Chairman and Managing Director of Duncan International India Ltd. Mr. Goenka serves as Chairman at Schrader Duncan Limited. Mr. Goenka has rich experience of over 45 years in managing and/or looking after the industries of diverse business interests such as jute and cotton textiles, wool-tops, industrial explosives, rubber chemicals and sophisticated engineering products. He is an Industrialist hailing from Goenka family. He has pioneered setting up an Export Oriented Unit manufacturing rubber chemicals. He serves as Chairman of Oriental Carbon & Chemicals Limited.

He serves as a Non Executive Director of Duncan International (India) Limited. He has held various illustrious positions viz. President of Bengal Mill Owners Association from 1972 to 1973, Chairman of Indian Woollen Mills Federation from 1969 to 1970, Indian Jute Mills Association from 1973 to 1974, Indian Cotton Mills Federation from 1978 1980, Jute Manufacturers Development Council and Explosives Manufacturers Association of India from 1992 to 1993 and Calcutta Jute Fabric Shippers' Association from 1969 to 1971. He is a Graduate of Calcutta University.
