Mr. Ramesh Narayanswamy Subramanyam has been the Chief Financial Officer of The Tata Power Company Limited since March 31, 2014. and serves as its Compliance Officer. Mr. Subramanyam serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Coastal Gujarat Power Limited, a subsidiary of Tata Power. He has over 20 years of varied experience in finance, commercial, accounting and corporate management with leading multinational companies like Unilever, Monsanto and Siemens. Before joining Tata Power, he worked as an Assistant Vice President of Global Corporate Treasury of Siemens AG. He joined Tata Power in 2007 as Chief Financial Officer for Coastal Gujarat Power Limited (Mundra UMPP). He is also on the board of other Tata Power Group Companies namely Maithon Power Limited and Indian Energy Limited. He serves as Director of Tata Power Trading Company Limited. He served as a Director of Dugar Hydro Power Limited from December 17, 2012 to May 28, 2014. He served as a Director of PT Sumber Energi Andalan Tbk (a/k/a PT Itamaraya Tbk). He is a Member of Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) & Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He has also passed the Certified Public Accountants examination of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Mr. Subramanyam is a graduate of Nagpur University.
