Mr. Braja K. Mishra has been the Managing Director at Welspun Corp Limited since April 26, 2012. Mr. Mishra has over 20 years experience in various disciplines including General Management, Project Finance and Marketing. In a span of 10 years, Mr. Mishra served in the level of Chief Executive Officer of the ‘Fastest Growing Company’ in India. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Welspun Gujarat Stahl Rohren Ltd. at Welspun Group and served as its General Manager of Marketing since 1996.

Mr. Mishra has been an Executive Director at Welspun Corp Limited since April 26, 2012. He served as a Director of Welspun Gujarat Stahl Rohren, Ltd., until October 03, 2009 and previously served as its Executive Director. He joined Welspun Gujarat-incorporated in 1995, then a green field project to make large diameter welded pipes for oil and gas application and steered Welspun Gujarat to a level of being recognized as one of the top three pipe companies in the world. He is an eminent speaker at various seminars and conferences and has appeared regularly on renowned business channels like CNBC, NDTV Profit, Zee Business, Awaaz etc.

Mr. Mishra is on the Board of Directors at Calorx Education Company Pvt. Ltd. The ranking by Business World has rated His relevant work experience coupled with his extremely positive outlook and marketing acumen attracted a host of top Oil and Gas majors’ viz. Shell, Aramco, El Paso to partner Welspun across continents. His unique HR skills resulted in creating a dedicated work force to achieve the desired objectives. Mr. Mishra has awarded him as the 5th most valuable Chief Executive Officer of Corporate India. Mr. Mishra is a Graduate in Commerce with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing and Finance.
