Arun Jain founded Polaris in 1993 with Rs. 10,000, to create a globally respected institution out of India, focusing on high performance and long-term relationships. Today, Polaris is a Global Leader in the Financial Technology space, and is privileged to have won the trust of leading Banks and financial institutions in the global arena, including 9 of the top 10 global Banks and 7 of the top 10 global Insurance companies.As the Chief Architect, Arun's unwavering focus has been toward simplifying the complex world of Financial Technology by seamlessly connecting technology to business. He believes that Design Thinking is the most powerful bridge to balance the financial institution's Acceleration, Rationalization, and Transformational agendas. He is the brain behind creating the World's First Design Center for Financial Technology, the 'FT 8012 Design Center' in Chennai, India, which has been thoughtfully created to connect Business, Technology, and Operations, and engineer solutions that drive unprecedented value.

Arun is a passionate advocate of ordinary people coming together to do extraordinary things, with a subconscious alignment for a larger purpose. He founded the Ullas Trust to integrate Polaris employees with the larger community. The Trust has awarded over 36,000 scholarships to students in Government and Corporation Schools in India.
