Mr. Deepak Dasgupta is as an Advisor of Unitech Limited. Mr. Dasgupta serves as the Chairman of IL&FS Transportation Networks Limited. He has served as the Chairman of NHAI for more than 5 years and has also served as an Advisor to the Asian Development Bank on consulting assignments. He has been a Non-Executive & Independent Director of IL&FS Transportation Networks Limited since June 30, 2009. He is a retired Indian Administrative Services officer with over 35 years of experience during which he has headed various departments of Government of Haryana and the Government of India including those related to infrastructure development and policy formulation. He was appointed as a member of the senior expert committee of IDFC Private Equity Fund and the Special Task Force on Bihar. He has also served as the Chairman of the National Highway Authority of India. Mr. Dasgupta served as an Independent Director of C & C Constructions Limited from October 6, 2006 to February 18, 2014. He has also served as a full time member on the Task Force for interlinking rivers. Mr. Dasgupta holds a bachelors’ degree and a master’s degree in science from the Delhi University.
