Mr. Jagdish Kumar G. Pillai has been the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Hathway Cable & Datacom Ltd. since December 21, 2012. Mr. Pillai serves as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Hathway Bhawani Cabletel and Datacom Ltd. Mr. Pillai serves as the President- South India of Star India Private Limited. He has been working with Star TV for over 14 years in various functional capacities in Mumbai and Hong Kong. He joined Star TV in 1995 as the Chief Financial Officer, and thereafter held various positions such as Executive Vice-President ­ Digital Platform Group, Head of Corporate Finance, Head of the DTH project etc. Prior to joining Star TV he worked in ITC Limited for 8 years in various roles in Finance & Internal Audit including as the Financial Controller. Mr. Pillai has 22 years of combined work experience in finance and general management. He serves as a Director at PPV Movies and Content Private Limited, Indya Interactive Services Private Limited, Gold Movies Private limited, Ampersand Media Private Limited, Vijay Television Private Limited, Asianet Communications Limited, Star International Networks Private Limited, and Star Asia Region FZ-LLC. Mr. Pillai has been an Executive Director of Hathway Cable & Datacom Ltd. since December 21, 2012. He serves as an Executive Director of Hathway Bhawani Cabletel and Datacom Ltd. Mr. Pillai served as a Non-Executive Non Independent Director of Hathway Cable & Datacom Ltd. from November 17, 2008 to September 27, 2011. He has qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
