Mr. Chalasani has 30 years of experience in Power sector. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Reliance Power Limited since March 7, 2008 until December 31, 2013. He served as Director of Business Development of Reliance Infrastructure Ltd. from January 18, 2003 to March 7, 2008. He joined Reliance group in 1995. He handled various assignments for Reliance ADA group. He held responsible positions with National Thermal Power Corporation Limited. He served as Chief Executive of BSES Rajdhani Power Limited. He has been an Executive Director at Punj Lloyd Ltd. since January 31, 2014. He serves as Director of Sembawang Engineers and Constructors Pte Ltd., Utility Powertech Limited, Hirma Power Limited, Reliance Energy Trading Limited, Jayamkondam Power Limited, Matrix Innovation Limited and Coastal Andhra Power Limited. Mr. Chalasani served as a Director of Mumbai Metro One Pvt. Ltd. He served as a Whole-Time Director of Reliance Infrastructure Ltd., from January 18, 2003 to March 7, 2008. He served as a Director of BSES Rajdhani Power Limited. He served as Director of Reliance Natural Resources Limited from August 9, 2005 to February 7, 2006. He served as Director at BSES Yamuna Power Limited. He is a Engineering graduate.
