Independent Director

Vijay Agarwal is an Independent Director of our Company. He was appointed as an Independent Director of our Company on September 9, 2014. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Jodhpur University and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant. Prior to joining our Company, he was a Partner in R.R. Gupta & Co., Chartered Accountants, Mumbai.

He is currently a Partner in Agarwal Vijay & Associates, Chartered Accountants in Mumbai. He has an experience of 30 years in cross-border acquisitions and transactions, advising in foreign service collaboration arrangements, providing statutory, management and tax audit services and providing tax advisory services.

Mr. Vijay Agarwal, FCA, serves as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of H & R Johnson (India) Limited. Mr. Aggarwal is a Managing Partner of M/s. Agarwal Vijay & Associates, Chartered Accountants in Mumbai. He has an experience of 30 years in cross-border acquisitions and transactions, advising in foreign service collaboration arrangements, providing statutory, management and tax audit services and providing tax advisory services.

He was a Partner in R.R. Gupta & Co., Chartered Accountants, Mumbai. He served as the Chairman of the Indian Council of Ceramic Tiles and Sanitaryware (ICCTAS), from 2003 to 2005. He has been an Independent Director of MEP Infrastructure Developers Limited since September 9, 2014. He has been a Director of Aptech Ltd. since October 28, 2005.

He has been a Non Executive & Independent Director of Gujarat Themis Biosyn Limited since March 31, 2006. He has been a Director of Birla Research and Lifesciences Limited since June 17, 2011.

Mr. Aggarwal served as Non-Executive Independent Director of Birla Shloka Edutech Ltd. since May 25, 2009 until September 22, 2011. He served as an Independent Director of Tips Industries Limited from October 31, 2012 August 14, 2015.
