Mr. Vinay Mittal

Chief Financial Strategist

Vinay joined HT Media in October 2008. He has worked with Max India and ANZ Grindlays in software services, investment banking, treasury management and venture capital. While at Max, he led private equity investments in IT & ITES sector.

He has more than 22 years of experience spanning full investment cycle – from building business to spinning it off. In his last role, before joining HT Media, Vinay was heading the Finance function at EXL, where he was responsible for the global treasury function. He participated and played a key role in taking EXL public on the NASDAQ.

Subsequent to the listing, he helped the company's internal Sarbannes Oxley (SOX) compliance initiative. Vinay is a commerce graduate from the Shri Ram College of Commerce and a Chartered Accountant.

Mr. Vinay Mittal serves as Advisor of Aspire Human Capital Management Private Limited. Mr. Mittal serves as Chief Financial Strategist at HT Media Ltd. Before joining HT Media, Mr. Mittal was heading the Finance function at EXL, where he was responsible for the global treasury function.

Mr. Mittal served as Vice President, Finance of ExlService.com (India) Private Limited, a subsidiary of Exlservice Holdings Inc. since December 2003. Mr. Mittal served as Vice President of Finance, EXL India at Exlservice Holdings, Inc. He has more than 16 years experience in the banking and financial services sector.

He served in various capacities at Max India Ltd., a life insurance, healthcare and IT company, from October 1998 to April 2003, including as Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at Max India Ltd., where he led private equity investments in the IT and IT enabled service sectors, and as Chief Financial Officer of Max IT from April 2001 to December 2002.

He worked at ANZ Grindlays Bank. He served as a Director of Bank of Rajasthan for three years.
