He joined the Equitas Group on October 15, 2007. He holds a Bachelors degree in Science from University of Madras and is also a qualified chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He started his career with Pricewaterhouse & Co., where he worked for one and a half years.

He later moved to Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Limited where he worked for two decades. Prior to joining Equitas Group, he was the Group Treasurer and Senior Vice President – Audit for the Murugappa Group, Chennai.
