Satyakam Basu has more than 43 years of experience and an extensive knowledge of Steel, Metals & Minerals & Mining industries. Also he has considerable experience in Industrial asset management , Passive Infra sector of Telecom , Service sector for Energy and implementation in Digital Infra sector. Apart from Industry , he also has deep knowledge of Agro Sector , specially Sugar & derivatives like Ethanol , Molasses etc as well as in other Agro products like Rice , Pulses, Soya , Wheat etc .

Mr. Basu has thorough knowledge of above Industries from manufacturing to marketing to services to projects with experience of running businesses across different regions like India, Middle East, Europe, Africa and CIS. Apart from having experience in Industrial environment, he is very strong in Mergers & Acquisitions, Takeovers, International Trade Finance, Green Field manufacturing projects & turnaround of Industries.

Mr. Basu’s career of 43 plus years spans large corporations, (Arcelor Mittal, Tata Steel, Essar Steel , Quesscorp), Medium companies (Mobar GmbH , S & D , Shri Ganapati ) as well as Entrepreneurship. Mr Basu is also an External Adviser to renowned consulting major Bain Consulting and a consultant to Godrej Properties. He also acts as a mentor to young corporates like Repono group , Sugs Lloyd group and Brij System group.

Mr Basu is a widely travelled person having travelled to more than 76 countries having close contacts in International community.

Mr. Basu holds a Postgraduation in Management from IIM Kolkata & is a Metallurgical Engineer from Jadavpur University.
